Parthiv Patel says not enjoying at Wankhede will not have an effect on Mumbai Indians a lot
Parthiv Patel believes not playing at Wankhede Stadium will have no impact on the Mumbai Indians as all bases are covered.
IPL 2021 will be held in six locations, with none of the franchises playing on their home turf. The Mumbai Indians have scheduled their league games in Chennai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata.
During a discussion on Star Sports, Parthiv Patel pointed out that the Mumbai Indians have put together a squad good enough to perform in all conditions.
“I’ve been looking for MI a lot. I know what kind of work we did, what kind of process the Mumbai Indians did. It won’t matter that where Mumbai Indians are playing,” said Patel.
The new member of the Mumbai Indian scouting team emphasized that the takeover of Piyush Chawla had put a hole in the squad.
“If there was anything anyone talked about about the Mumbai Indian roster in the last year, the need for another seasoned wack, ideally a wrist spinner, we have. This year we thought it was is only one. ” At a year-long tournament with a major auction coming up, we needed the most experienced wrist-spinner on the side, and we got it. I think we’ve covered all the bases for the Mumbai Indians, “added Patel.
The addition of Chawla, the third highest wicket taker in IPL history, will give the Mumbai Indians a much-needed experience of the spin attack.
