Mumbai Indians Kieron Pollard’s challenges PBKS Chris Gayle

IPL 2021 – Mumbai Indians versus Punjab Kings: Kieron Pollard of the Mumbai Indians and Chris Gayle of the Punjab Kings take the lead when the best hard hitters in the Indian Premier League (IPL) are discussed. The 33-year-old has now set a challenge for the Universe Boss for the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Kieron Pollard vs Chris Gayle – The Sixes Battle: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the IPL 2021 schedule on Sunday. This year’s IPL edition starts on April 9th. The final is scheduled for May 30th in Ahmedabad.

Both players have been retained by their respective IPL franchises and will certainly be part of the core group. Punjab Kings, who start their campaign against Rajasthan Royals in Mumbai on April 12, will take on Mumbai Indians in Chennai on April 23.

The Punjab franchise posted a picture of Pollard and Gayle on their Twitter handle with the former throwing the latter a “6 Sixes in a Over Challenge”. “I’m looking forward to Gayle hitting the record of six sixes in one over,” he said. the quote in the picture read.

PBKS accepted the challenge on behalf of Gayle, writing: “. @KieronPollard55how about a six-goal contest on April 23rd? “

If Gayle manages to score six sixes he will be the first to do so in the Indian Premier League. The universe holds the record for hitting the most highs in IPL.

The 41-year-old has beaten 349 sixes in 132 games. He is also at the top of the highest single point list. Gayle had made 175 runs in 66 balls against Pune Warriors in 2013, beating 17 sixes and 13 fours with a hit rate of 265.15.

Pollard is now sixth in the top list with 198 six in 164 games. Mumbai will begin its IPL 2021 campaign against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai on April 9th.
