Mumbai City FC sign experienced midfielder Bradden Inman | Football News

MUMBAI: Reigning Indian Super League champions Mumbai City FC announced the signing of Australian midfielder Bradden Inman ahead of the coming season on Tuesday.
The Australian midfielder joins the franchise with a season contract until May 2022.
A product of the youth academy of the English club Newcastle United, Inman played his football in England for over 10 years, playing for clubs such as Crewe Alexandra, Peterborough United and Rochdale AFC.
In 2019, the Adelaide-born player returned to Australia to practice his trade for A League club Brisbane Roar, where he scored four goals and provided five assists in 25 games in the 2019-20 season.
The 29-year-old midfielder joined ISL team ATK Mohun Bagan ahead of the 2020/21 season and was loaned to Odisha FC during the January transfer window.
He played a total of 13 games in the 2020-21 ISL season, recording one goal and two assists for his name.
After the 2020/21 ISL season, Inman signed a short-term contract with A-League club Western United, for which he completed five appearances.
“I am delighted to join the defending champions Mumbai City FC. They have a clear goal and ambition where they see themselves in the near future, namely to win trophies and to be one of the best clubs in Asia and my goal will be “I’m doing my best to help the club achieve its goals,” Inman was quoted as saying in a media release.
For his part, head coach Sergio Lobera said: “He is a quality player and he is someone who will strengthen our attacking unit. His strong playmaking skills will bring a lot of intensity and energy to the team.”
