Maharashtra: 4 held for motorbike thefts in Raigad district | Mumbai Information

ALIBAUG: Four people were arrested for alleged involvement in eight motorcycle theft cases in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, police said on Wednesday. Police caught Sanket Santosh Jamkar, Sankesh Sakharam Jadhav, Shubam Ramesh Kashyap and Ashish Birendrasing Panwar on Tuesday, an official said.
While Jamkar and Jadhav are from Thal Bazar in Alibaug, Kashyap and Panwar are from Uttarakhand, the official said.
With these arrests, the police have resolved eight motorcycle theft cases since 2012, which were recorded in the Alibaug and Panvel police stations.
In the course of the investigation, the police managed to recover motorcycles valued at 3.88 lakh, the official added.
