Indian Railways Prepares 12 Rajdhani Express Rakes as Push-Pull Locomotive Trains! Earlier this year, in January, the Rajdhani Express became the first Indian Railways train to use push-pull technology from Mumbai to New Delhi. On January 19, 2019, the train No. 22221/22222 Rajdhani Express opened. The train runs under the Central Railway Zone. This bi-weekly train consists of a First AC, three AC 2 tier, eight AC 3 tier and a storage wagon. Every Wednesday and Saturday, the train departs from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) station in Mumbai at 2 p.m. and arrives at Hazrat Nizamuddin station in Delhi at 10.20 a.m. the next day.
