Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]November 9th (ANI / PNN): With a legacy of over 140 years, Mahajan (Founded 1881) of Mumbai Textile Merchants at 10 Parle (East). The Hotel Sahara Star will showcase a dazzling display of different types of the latest fabrics on 180 stands.
The fabrics exhibited at the MTMM fabric fair include a wide range of fabrics for formal, casual, ethnic, children’s clothing, shirts, suits, clothing fabrics as well as a wide range of dhotis and saris. There is also a huge selection of cotton fabrics, polyester fabrics, blended fabrics, rayon fabrics and silk in an unprecedented variety of dyed, printed and added value. These fabrics will represent a changing scenario in fashion as Mumbai is considered the country’s fashion capital. Mumbai is also considered the birthplace of high quality fabrics. The Mega Fair also shows fabrics from composite weaving mills, rayon spinning mills, wool spinning mills, decentralized looms as well as fabrics made from newly invented fibers and yarns such as bamboo, Tencel, etc.

The B2B Fabric Fair will remain open for free to distributors, apparel manufacturers, retailers, fashion designers, buyers, importers – exporters, brokers, tailors, boutiques and fashion institute students. Entry is only possible with registration. The general public is not permitted to enter the fair, as there are no retail sales at the fair. It is expected that a large number of dealers from the field office will visit the fair. A visitor frequency of around 10,000 visitors is expected on the two days of the fair. The exhibition times are from 9.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.
Kanubhai P. Narsana, President of Mahajan of Mumbai Textile Merchants, announced that The Mahajan plans to hold two such fairs each year. The Mahajan Fair Committee consists of Chairman Emeritus Dhiraj Kothari, Sunil J. Majithia, Bhavesh H. Goradia, Divyesh M. Panchmatia, Anand Sarda and others.

Mahajan from Mumbai Textile Merchants is mainly made up of vendors from the MuljiJetha Cloth Market (MJ Market) and surrounding markets, including Bhiwandi.
